This lad replaced family photos with pictures of Steve Buscemi, and his mam didn't even notice

Maybe she likes Steve Buscemi?

SOMETIMES THE SIMPLEST pranks are the best. This is proof.

Kevin Manion from Wisconsin started replacing a single family photo with a picture of Steve Buscemi every day, to see how long it took his parents to notice.

The prank went viral after his sister Clare tweeted about it – it’s been retweeted almost 25,000 times since Monday:

Clare told Buzzfeed that Kevin came up with the prank while they were both bored during the summer holidays. (Ah, remember those endless summer days during the school break?)

Eventually, on the fifth day of pranking, their mother finally clocked that the man in the photos was not her son:

She was in the kitchen and could tell something was wrong with my brother’s senior photo, like the colours were wrong, and his head was too big, so she walked over to it and started laughing so hard.

Kevin has, unsurprisingly, been hailed a hero by the internet.

Kudos, Kevin. Kudos.
